The effects of Blue Green Algae on HIV+ patients
Peter Schick, one of the authors of this protocol, has developed 6 protocols promoting bone marrow stem cells as a means of treating common diseases such as Diabetes Type 2, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, and non-morbid obesity.
The culmination of our work is a new protocol, a pilot study that aims to see if bone marrow stem cells stimulated by a natural substance with the trade name, Blue Green Algae, might have a beneficial effect on the status of HIV+ patients. Blue Green Algae increases circulating CD34 bone marrow stem cells by 30% and we will be administering it orally to patients who have an undetectable viral load (due to antiretroviral treatment) for a period of 6 months. We hope to show that the refurbished immune cells created by stem cells could repair the damaged immune systems in these patients. It is also possible that Blue Green Algae’s effect might reverse the aging of the T cell population as it appears that bone marrow stem cells aid in healing and reversal of the aging process.
